How to Create an Organized (& pretty!) Pantry

I have always connected with Monica Gellar from Friends.  We share a love for things to be perfectly organized and beautiful.  We also share a spot of the house like "The Secret Closet", the area to put things that have no category or aren't in the current project.  My husband loves this pile of randomness...lol, not really.

One room in our house that stays consistently organized is our pantry.  We've lived here for a little over 8 years now.  We were able to choose finishings and fixtures when building it but there were places I wanted to add touches that felt more custom and more like "us".  I usually do my projects when Ryan is out of town since he is typically unsure at the beginning.  99.9% of the time he loves the outcomes of these ideas I have, it's just better for both our stress levels for him to miss out on the process and wait to see the end result.

To give our pantry the upgrade I wanted, I searched online for peel & stick wallpaper to use in the space.  This was my first time installing wallpaper so I thought it may be an easier application going that route. I color matched paint for the shelves to coordinate.  I love how it turned out, it's a fun pop of color in a smaller space in the house!

The Before: Builder Basic & Boring

To keep everything organized I separated the pantry into sections and categories, utilizing various baskets and containers on the shelves. I have everything clearly labeled so it's easy to see what we have and where it all should be stored.
