If there’s one thing I love in a wardrobe staple, it’s versatility. When I saw this bold, pleated maxi skirt bursting with vibrant colors, I knew it was going to be the statement piece that could do double (or triple!) duty in my spring & summer rotation.
Today I’m showing you how to take one skirt and style it two very different ways—perfect whether you’re heading to brunch or running errands in style. Let’s break it down:

Look One: Casual, Cool, and Classic
Denim jacket + white tee + leopard flats + woven tote
This look is effortlessly chic and easy to recreate. I threw on a classic white tee, layered with a cropped denim jacket for that timeless Jackie O-meets-weekend-cool vibe. The woven, metallic flats add a fun twist while still being a neutral, and my textured orange tote brings out the warm tones in the skirt. Whether you’re grabbing coffee or hitting the farmer’s market, this look is comfortable yet elevated.
Style tip: A denim jacket balances out the boldness of the skirt and makes the outfit feel grounded.

Look Two: Polished & Pulled Together
Blue cardigan + nude heels + woven bag
For a more polished vibe, I buttoned up a vibrant blue cardigan and added simple nude heels. The cardigan complements the blue tones in the skirt, creating a cohesive and eye-catching color story. I swapped the casual tote for a more structured woven bag—perfect for a lunch meeting or casual workday.
Style tip: Tucking in your top defines the waist and creates a flattering silhouette—especially with a full, pleated skirt.

Why I Love This Skirt:
The colors: Bright, bold, and mood-boosting.
The fit: High-waisted, pleated, and flowy—aka flattering and forgiving.
The options: You can pair it with everything from a blazer to a tank top.
A statement skirt doesn’t have to be a one-hit wonder. With just a few smart swaps, you can take it from weekend casual to weekday polished. Don’t be afraid to play with color, texture, and accessories—especially when the base piece is this much fun.
